Summer Projects

Summer landscaping projects are finally winding down.  I actually sold more landscape jobs than I had anticipated, so I made very little progress on the organ.  With the weather cooling off I am anxious to spend every spare minute in the workshop!

This summer I completed the first of several home improvement projects that need to get done before the organ can go in.  Thanks to A&J Donner Construction, I finally have a new driveway!  The old concrete was badly cracked and settling near the house.  Two downspouts pour onto the driveway, and every time we get 1/4-inch of rain I literally had a river in the basement.  Most of the water came in in the corner that will become the blower room.  We have had sevel hard rains since the driveway has been in and (knock on wood) there hasn't been any water in the basement.
